Firefly Handmade | Top 3 Vendors

You never have to have a reason to be outside in Boulder, but the Firefly Handmade markets always gives you a great one! It is rare to find handmade-only markets but Firefly has done a wonderful job at ensuring that all their artisans are handmade, creative, and exceptional in their craft.

This year’s summer market was no different! Beautiful location, friendly vendors, and astounding art, we were not disappointed!

Although we were thrilled with all the artisans we met, there were a few that were real standouts!

#1. Crow Jane Jewelry

Crow Jane Jewelry collection featured some of the most creative metalwork I have seen. “Inspired by the dichotomy between nature and industry and by the shapes of ancient cultures”, maker Jessica handcrafts each piece with love and care in her studio in Denver, Colorado.

Earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces… you are bound to find an incredible new addition to your jewelry collection.

#2. Doodle Girl Designs

Based in Boulder, Colorado, this hometown favorite of ours has a wonderful array of hand illustrated fun, modern, and simple greeting cards. Reminding people how cute and cheery snail mail can be, Doodle Girl Designs hopes to see their cards sprinkled all around the world.

We are all so digitally connected that it is even more important to send little handwritten notes and cards here and there: say hello, wish someone a happy birthday, or congratulate friends on babies, engagements and successes!

#3. Salato Designs

Salato Designs is a lifestyle brand that mixes the finest cotton, canvas, vegan leather, and real leather together to create one of a kind statement pieces. Of course, all items are handcrafted. Made to order, Salato bags, clutches and clothing are unlike any other. The patterns, colors, and creativity behind each piece we saw were amazing.

I would purchase, wear, share, and tell all my friends to buy her line… in fact; I am about to buy the above-pictured clutch! Looking forward to showing you off, Salato!
