Mad Love’s packages ready to ship after the Handmade Loves Instagram feature!

Awhile back we featured Mad Love on our Instagram account. I was overjoyed when I got a message from the maker letting me know that she gained over 50 new followers and had 6 orders, 4 of which ordered multiple items!

We love when we get feedback from makers and artisans. I know it can’t be positive all of the time, but we strive to make improvements to our business based-off of what you share with us!

Celebrating triumphs and success stories is so important. I also love when I am reminded why I started this business: To help handmade artisans, like you!

If you haven’t checked out Mad Love, I highly recommend you do so!

It’s All In The Details

I absolutely love getting packages in the mail! Especially handmade items. Tearing them open to get to that highly anticipated object just makes my day. Since I buy handmade goods often, I have noticed a few things that take that awesome feeling of receiving a package and make it an even more elevated experience. I recently purchased a custom made hand lettered stamp for a friend from Magnolia Letter Arts and will be using their shop as an example because they are doing an awesome job!

Love To Shop…Small

By | Food For Thought

Growing up in a household where my mom was always a conscience consumer, trying to buy local or small batches & avoiding mass production items from China (She literally would look at every tag, on every product in a store!) made me a conscience shopper as an adult. Shopping small has become near & dear to my heart. Not only do I feel that I am doing my part to protest child labor & outsourcing to China, I have discovered handcrafted items are often of higher quality & are more unique than their mass produced counterparts. I have been a lover of Etsy for years, but find it harder & harder to find what I am searching for amongst the junk & resale items on their website. Determined to find unique items for myself, my family and my home, I started Handmade Loves as a place to collect ideas & showcase my favorite handmade items in one spot. I soon realized that I could play a part in lending a hand to artisans by getting their products noticed. I hope you enjoy browsing the works of the talented artisans featured on the website & in my social feeds.
