My 3 Handmade Loves

By July 12, 2016Uncategorized

Eve here! I have been on such an amazing HandmadeLoves roll lately, constantly being inspired by the creativity and I can’t wait to share with you three of my favorite products in the last few months! I am so lucky to have product reviews be a part of my job description because not only do I get to be in contact with phenomenal makers, but I get to take in amazing products!

Today, I wanted to round up a few of favorites from this last month. Thank you SO much to all the vendors. My home and closets are all so much happier representing each of you!

A Few Favorites

#1 – Wolf Jaw Press

Let’s start with the stunning Wolf Jaw Press. Not only is Alicia, the talent behind the business, one of the sweetest vendor’s I’ve had the pleasure to work with but her artwork blew me out the water. In only a few days, I received three beautiful silk screen prints & found them their spots in my house! So much color, positive energy, and emotion!

My flamingo, fox, & chicken are so much more than just decor! The colors are so vibrant and the artist attention to detail makes them that much more special. If you are in New York, make sure to go and visit Alicia & Wolf Jaw Press on July 16th at the “Art on Lark” event in in Albany on Lark Street!

HandmadeLoves offers me the opportunity to work with such incredible people and I cannot wait to continue working with & buying fro Wolf Jaw Press! Thanks, Alicia!

#2 – Marquet Fair Trade

Next up is a vendor who I actually met in person at the Boulder Creek Festival, which had local vendors of all kinds! After falling in LOVE with their jewelry, I immediately knew I wanted to collaborate and feature David & his small business, Marquet Fair Trade on HandmadeLoves. Not only do I get more comments on my necklace than any other piece of jewelry, but it brings so many of my (mainly black) outfits come to life!

Not only is the jewelry stunning, but their goal is to empower artisans & entrepreneurs in developing countries to grow their audience and sales by importing handmade accessories, gifts, and decor from Thailand & Vietnam.

Not only do we at HandmadeLoves encouraging shopping small, but we also want to help handmade business owners to grow as well, while supporting businesses whose missions are to giveback to the fullest. Thank you, Marquet Fair Trade, for being incredible AND giving back.

#3 – Very Sarie

Last but definitely not least, this review is extra special to me. I met Sarah from Very Sarie while HandmadeLoves was in Santa Monica for our West Elm event because she was one of our featured vendors! I say this all the time, but I feel so lucky to have met Sarah! Not only is she crazy talented, but she was so much fun to spend the day with. Her good friend was there for moral support and we all got along wonderfully.

Before leaving, I (of course) had to make all my many purchases from each of our vendors. However, I couldn’t quite contain myself when shopping from Very Sarie! I ended up leaving with two prints and two greeting cards, which I left for my parents when I went to visit them a few weeks ago. My parents now have those cards hung up in their rooms and absolutely love them.

I love sharing the incredible work our handmade vendors create, however, this was extra special because I got to share the talent and beauty with my family. Thank you, Sarah!
